Often times patients are just a number and aren’t given the full attention required for better health outcomes. However, in independent pharmacies, patients walk in with critical questions about their medications, drug interactions, and disease states. With minimal wait times and more personalized medication reviews, independent pharmacist are the most accessible healthcare providers. Understanding the value of community pharmacists from an early age, I always envisioned practicing in my own corporation and spreading the culture of an independent pharmacy.
